  • Providing accurate menus, descriptions, and prices.

  • Disclosing relevant food allergens and ingredients where required.

  • Preparing orders according to accepted customer requests.

  • Maintaining appropriate food handling and packaging standards.

  • Communicating unavailable menu items and preparation delays.

Restaurant participation may be subject to a separate Restaurant Partner Agreement.

STONESJOE Eats may review restaurant applications and take proportionate action where partners violate applicable platform policies.

4. Food Orders

Customers are responsible for reviewing their orders before checkout.

Order details may include:

  • Restaurant name.

  • Selected food items.

  • Quantities.

  • Item prices.

  • Applicable service charges.

  • Delivery or collection options.

  • Total payable amount.

Customers will be informed of material changes to their orders where reasonably practicable.

5. Prices and Payments

Food prices are established by participating restaurants or otherwise displayed according to the applicable commercial arrangements.

Additional charges, including delivery or service fees, may apply.

The total payable amount should be presented before customers confirm payment.

Available payment methods will be displayed during checkout.

Payments may be processed by authorized third-party payment providers.

STONESJOE Eats does not require customers to disclose their payment card PINs or banking passwords to restaurant partners.

6. Delivery and Collection

Delivery availability depends on the restaurant’s service area and the delivery arrangements offered through the platform.

Estimated delivery times are indicative and may vary because of:

  • Restaurant preparation times.

  • Weather.

  • Rider availability.

  • Other operational circumstances.

Customers must provide accurate delivery addresses and reasonable contact information.

Where collection is offered, customers are responsible for collecting their orders at the agreed location and time.

Responsibility for delivery services will depend on whether delivery is arranged by STONESJOE Eats, the restaurant, or an authorized delivery partner.

7. Order Cancellations

Customers may request cancellation through the available customer support channels.

Cancellation eligibility depends on factors including:

  • Whether the restaurant has accepted the order.

  • Whether food preparation has started.

  • Whether delivery has commenced.

  • Applicable consumer protection requirements.

Cancellation requests will be reviewed according to the platform’s Refund Policy and applicable Nigerian law.

Nothing in these terms excludes statutory consumer rights.

8. Refunds and Complaints

Customers should report incorrect, missing, damaged, unsafe, or otherwise unsatisfactory orders promptly.

Where appropriate, customers may be asked to provide:

  • Order number.

  • Description of the problem.

  • Relevant supporting information.

Refund eligibility will be assessed according to the circumstances, applicable policies, and consumer protection law.

Where a refund is approved, the processing period may depend on the original payment method and payment provider.

STONESJOE Eats will not use its policies to exclude refunds or remedies required by applicable law.

9. Food Safety and Allergies

Participating restaurants are responsible for preparing and handling food in accordance with applicable health and safety requirements.

Customers with allergies or dietary restrictions should review available ingredient information and communicate relevant concerns before ordering.

STONESJOE Eats does not guarantee that every restaurant operates an allergen-free kitchen.
